Signals

Signals is the full list of signals that currently need your attention — across all your clients and about your own work, in a single overview. You get here from the bell in the top-right header or from the Open signals card on the Dashboard. The number on the bell is the number of signals on this page.

Each signal is one row in the list, showing:

ElementMeaning
IconThe kind of data the signal is attached to (client, appointment, care trajectory, document, form, contract).
NameThe name of the signal definition, for example "Client missing contact details".
MessageThe concrete text for this case, with the data filled in.
TimeHow long the signal has been open.

How it works

The list is not an inbox you maintain yourself: Scrivio derives it each time from the current data and from your place in the organization. The points below explain why you see what you see.

What ends up in the list

Signals are soft warnings that arise as soon as data meets the conditions of a signal definition. They are derived, not created: resolve the cause — you fill in the missing phone number, you bill the appointment — and the signal disappears from the list on its own. There is therefore no button to tick off or delete a signal; doing the work is how you resolve it.

Who sees which signals

A signal definition has no "who is this for" setting. What lands on your list is determined by three things together: the kind of data the signal is attached to, your role and permissions, and the relationships between records — for example whether the client is in your treatment team. Two colleagues therefore see different lists on this screen. Without the signals.read permission the page is not accessible.

How this differs from the Dashboard's signal cards

The Dashboard shows signals in separate cards per subject (clients, personal, billing, organization) and displays a fixed top slice of each — meant to tell you at a glance whether something is going on. This page is its counterpart: one list without that split, which you can page through in full with Load more signals. So if you want to see everything, this is the right place; for a quick look per subject, the Dashboard is handier.

An empty list is good news

If no signals are open, the page states that you have no open signals. That is an outcome, not a failed search: there is nothing needing your attention right now.

Open a signal

Click a signal to go to the place where you can resolve it. Where you land depends on what the signal is attached to:

Signal aboutTakes you to
ClientThe client dossier.
Appointment or appointment factThe appointment detail screen.
Care trajectoryThe care trajectory in the client's dossier.
DocumentThe client's Documents tab, with the document alongside.
Form submissionThe client's Answers tab, with the submission alongside.
ContractThe contract.
OrganizationOrganization management.
LocationThe location detail screen.
PractitionerYour own profile, or the colleague's user detail.
InsurerThe Insurers overview under Billing.

For signals about missing data — there is no ID document, or no active care trajectory, for instance — there is no record to navigate to. You then land directly on the client tab where you add it.

Load more signals

The list loads the first 25 signals. If there are more, a Load more signals button appears at the bottom; it appends the next batch below the current one. The button disappears once you have seen everything.

Try again

If the list can't be fetched, an error message appears with a Try again button. If loading the next batch failed, the signals already loaded stay in place and the same button retries just that batch.
